Call to Order: April 2026
Spring has finally arrived. The snow is (mostly) gone, the days are getting longer, and the Canada Geese have made known their presence at my local park and pond. I love them, but not everything they do is loveable.
We’ve made significant progress and are getting closer to launch. We’re excited to share what’s coming
Happy Holidays: December 2025
As the year winds down and there are no more meetings on the calendar, I wanted to send a brief note to wish you, your family and friends, colleagues, fellow board members and your organization a very happy holiday season.
Thank you for choosing BoardSpace, for trusting us with your board’s documents and meeting workflow. Volunteer-led organizations do important work, often with limited time and resources, and we don’t take lightly the trust you place in us to play a small role in making your governance a little easier and a little more organized.
Crisp Fall Edition: Cooler Air, Hot Features. October 2025
After a few more sizzling days with temperatures soaring over 30°C (that’s about 86°F for our friends to the south), the air has finally cooled to a more typical fall crispness. The leaves are turning, the pumpkin spice is flowing, and Canadians everywhere are preparing to celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend—yes, we know our good neighbours down south prefer to wait until November.
Team BoardSpace, however, isn’t waiting for anything. We’re charging ahead with Version 4 and have plenty to be thankful for: major progress, fresh features, and a growing community of boards who keep us inspired.
Sizzling Summer Edition. August 2025
As I write this, a scorching heat wave is finally breaking. A welcome rain is cooling the air and giving the parched landscape a well-needed drink.
While summer slows some things down, Team BoardSpace is anything but idle. As Labour Day approaches (already—how is that possible?), we’re deep in development on Version 4 and making strong progress.
Summer Edition: The Next Chapter. July 2025
With Canada Day and the Fourth of July celebrations in the rearview mirror, it finally feels like summer has arrived. As BBQs sizzle and summer days roll in, it’s a great time to reflect on the past six months—and share what’s heating up at BoardSpace.
