How to Add a Manager to a Board

Who Are Managers?

Managers are staff or administrators who support the board but do not vote and are not directors or officers. Examples include:

Property or Association Managers
General Manager
CEO
Executive Director
Executive Assistant

Managers can be admins and recording secretaries, and can be part of an unlimited number of boards or committees.

Who Can Add a Manager?

Only Super Admins can add managers to boards or committees. This is done from HQ.

Add a manager first, then assign them to specific boards or committees.
Step-by-Step: Adding a Manager

Open HQ

Navigate to HQ. You'll see the main dashboard overview.

Go to Managers

Click the Managers icon on the left-hand side navigation.

Add a New Manager

Click Add New Manager and fill in the details in the popup.

The new manager is automatically sent an email inviting them to set up their account.

Assign the Manager to a Board

Click the board icon to open board assignments.

Click the + in the table header row at the right-hand side of the Managers table.

Click + to assign a board

From the first dropdown, select the board or committee. From the second dropdown, pick a manager, then click Save.

The manager now has access to that board or committee.

Review Manager Assignments

A list of current managers and their board and committee assignments is displayed.
