How to Manage Tags

Super Admins and Board Admins can edit or merge tags. Once or twice a year it's worth reviewing your tags — look for spelling mistakes, redundant names, or tags that could be combined.

Opening Tag Manager

Go to Documents. Click the chevron (the arrowhead beside the Upload button), then choose Tag Manager from the dropdown.

Deleting Tags

Tags cannot be deleted if they are attached to any documents.

Edit Tag section showing document count per tag

Click on a tag to see how many documents are using it. In the example above, the Finance tag has been added to one document — it cannot be removed until another tag (not a meeting date tag) has been added to that document in its place.

💡
If a tag shows zero documents, it can be safely deleted.
